This role is responsible for governing the ITIL Change Management process to minimise incidents, service outages, increase quality and decrease risk of service changes for our clients.



This Senior role is part of a larger regional Change Management team and change activities are driven by specific client contractual requirements while being supported by a global best practice.



The most important aspect of this role is your ability to communicate, act with authority across all levels of the organisation with independence and use your very strong drive and determination to get the best results for our clients.



This role is for a Brisbane based client with a requirement to be client facing a large majority of the time.



Key Responsibilities




  • Coordinate, review and evaluate all aspects of a Change Management request (via a tool) from a compliance and governance prospective

  • Effectively manage a diverse and multi-faceted delivery model across all levels, when it comes to the Change Management operational delivery.

  • Communicate the governance practices for the Change Management process to ensure consistency and understanding with all stakeholders - including training and guidance of engineers and customers.

  • Ensure that stakeholders understand and perform their responsibilities to maintain a quality change with communication and process.

  • Participate and chair various meetings, including TAB (Technical Assessment Board) and CAB (Change Assessment Board) as well as performing post implementation reviews and detailed deep dives

  • Reporting and analysis at various levels to identify and support initiatives to improve the execution of the Change Management activities

  • Engaging and managing third party suppliers for consistent delivery of Change Management.


Qualifications & Experience


  • Experience in ITIL Change Management governance performing a Change Manager role with3 the use of documented methodologies and tools

  • ITIL V3 Foundations certification - mandatory

  • Highly developed interpersonal, presentation, communication, consultation and problem solving skills

  • An understanding of information management principles and practices

  • Experience in engaging and managing third parties and external service providers
