Managed Services Senior Business Development Manager

This dynamic and challenging role sits within the Managed Services (MS) division of the HP Printing & Personal Systems (PPS) Group. PPS MS’s charter is to deliver a broad range of client services designed to reduce cost, drive real business value and to improve workplace information technology experiences.
The successful candidate will be savvy, capable, motivated and ready to join a passionate and successful team that are drive by return for effort, predictable performance and a respect for delivering industry leading managed services solutions to both enterprise and the public sector.
This role is ideally suited to those individuals that possess a partnering sales style and can deliver on promises, whilst building, maintaining and developing high c-level stakeholder relationships.
As a Managed Services Enterprise Sales Executive, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Client Engagement
• Establishing a professional, working, and consultative, relationship with the client, up to and including the C-level for mid-to-large accounts, by developing a core understanding of the unique business needs of the client within their industry
• Focusing on growing contractual renewals for mid-to-large accounts with more complexity, to higher-total contract-value renewals
• Selling outsourcing and managed services solutions that encapsulate the total life cycle of a document in an enterprise account
• Directing or coordinating supporting sales activities
• Market Knowledge
• Maintaining knowledge of competitors in account to strategically position HP's products and services
• Providing input regarding business development and solution expertise
• May invest time working with and leveraging external partners to deliver sales
• Sales Administration
• KPI’s - TCV, revenue and profit
• Creating and driving your sales pipeline
• Maintaining a 5x sales funnel vs. budget
• Regularly update Salesforce.com for pipeline, contacts and activity
• Capturing leads outside of specialisation and using closed-loop lead management to ensure correct assignment and follow-up
• Using specialty expertise to seek out new opportunities and expand and enhance existing opportunities to build the pipeline in and drive pursuit
Qualifications
To be considered for this role you will need to:
• Have extensive selling experience within the IT Managed Services and or similar services industry - preferably within the Enterprise space
• Have experience in multiple market sectors e.g. FSI, Public Sector, Healthcare & Education
• Be a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record of quota achievement and over achievement in technology sales in large organizations
• Take an innovative approach to sales through your ability to conceptualize and articulate well-targeted solutions from proposal to contract sign off
• Have experience working with sales methodologies, tools and processes & have solid business and financial acumen – including solid account planning and accurate forecasting skills
• Be self-motivated, competitive and goal oriented and work well autonomously or within a team
• Be a strong communicator (written & oral – including presentation skills) & relationship building (ability to build trusted advisor relationships with clients up to c-level);
• Demonstrate strong problem solving abilities and strategic level thinking and have proven experience in solving problems of diverse complexity and scope.
