Multimedia Software Intern

HP's Immersive Platforms organization is developing multimedia technologies and software that will enable exciting new experiences in future generations of computing devices like Sprout by HP. We are seeking a motivated student in Computer Science or a related discipline to join a team of multimedia researchers and software developers in bringing novel new experiences to life through multimedia technology. In this position, you will work closely with other team members to evaluate and optimize multimedia technologies and demonstrate new capabilties and experiences based on these technologies. Candidates should have a keen sense of curiousity, interest in digital multimedia, and an ability to see tasks to completion. Client-server architectures, C++ programming knowledge and experience with digital multimedia are a major plus.

QUALIFICATIONS:



Education and Experience Required:



Candidates should possess the following:

- a high school diploma

- at least three years of University experience, with a major in a technical field

- knowledge and experience in software development

- strong written and oral communications skills

- interest and experience in digital multimedia
