BI Developer

We are looking for a BI/ETL Developer located is Bristol, Salary is £30-40k with a excellent benefits package.


The BI/ETL Developer will be responsible for the design, development and support of the organisations MI product. Working with large quantities of Financial Data would be beneficial!


Main Duties and Responsibilities:


• Be the first point of contacts for any data queries and report queries.

• Responsible for developing ETL packages/SSIS/SSAS on client’s urgent change requests.

• Responsible for monitoring ETL performance and fix any production issues.

• Support month end financial reports data reconciliation

• Process source data provided through Excel or flat file to support automated data load.

• Develop Ad-Hoc reports upon client requirement.

• Provide technical user training when required.

• Adhere to BI Team support procedure and process.

• Have a good knowledge on source systems to perform data analysis.

• Good TSQL skill together with ability to trouble shooting SSIS packages and SSRS reports.

• Provide a professional and competent service to both internal and external customers at all times

• Assist scrum master on team scrum activities.


Skills & Experience:


• Demonstrable programming knowledge and skills with SQL Server (SQL 2005/ SQL 2008/SQL 2008 R2)

• Understand basic concept of data warehouse

• Strong T-SQL skill

• Strong SSIS, SSAS and good knowledge of SSRS

• Strong problem solving skill.

• Strong data analysis skill.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Success working in a team based environment with good interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and virtually

• Exposure to source control.

• Exposure to Finance data.
