Apple Sales, Service and Order Administration Technology group is looking for an experienced Business Process Engineer to join our WW Business Process Engineering team. The ideal candidate for this position will be a proven, innovative business solutions architect with process engineering / optimization and business analysis expertise. This role requires very strong leadership and influencing skills at all levels of the organization.
With the support of the WW SSOA Technology team, the successful candidate will focus on the optimization of end to end business processes, with particular attention towards OpEx and Customer Experience improvements. The role requires a high degree of cross-functional interaction, both internally and externally, on a global basis demanding excellent communication skills.
Key Qualifications
- Experience/Skills:
- Ability to understand the motivations and goals of business stakeholders. Utilization of this knowledge in the communication of improvement initiatives to drive adoption of process improvement;
- Passion for using data to support decisions is essential. The successful candidate would be expected to explore all data available within AOS and understand how to use big data to make and support decisions and recommendations;
- An understanding of the value and limitations of both qualitative and quantitative data is essential;
- As a minimum, an understanding of advanced Excel is necessary and GBI would be favored;
- The ability to identify and manage ambiguity in a matrixed organization by utilizing a self developed support network is essential;
- Extensive success in a cross functional leadership and project management role;
- Must be detail-oriented, highly organized individual, able to keep accurate documentation; with strong ability to utilize tools to accelerate global communications;
- Strong team player, must be able to multi-task and work well under pressure;
- Must have proven creative problem solving history;
- Be a self-starter willing to take ownership and drive to completion;
- Demonstrated proficiency in process mapping techniques and tools eg. Omnigraffle;
- Demonstrated proficiency in process improvement methodologies (primarily Six Sigma and Lean);
- Thinks of the Customer Experience first, then aligns technology as an enabler;
- Makes a habit of using data and analysis to make decisions and influence others;
- Drives change laterally across organizations using influencing skills;
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate agreements with multiple dependent stakeholders in a worldwide capacity. An ability to take multiple view points from a WW aspect and distill to the core problem is essential as is applying the correct statistical models and functions to drive results.
- Qualification Criteria:
- To qualify for this position, the candidate must:
- Have a minimum of 5 years relevant work experience ideally in an e-commerce environment;
- Have full-time experience in leading process improvement projects (both at detail and management level role), during which both goal achievement and management capabilities have been clearly demonstrated;
- Demonstrate a strong track record of process improvement techniques such as Lean / Six Sigma methodology with Black or Green Belt certification or a similar industry recognized accredited certification;
- Be a self-motivated, driven individual who is comfortable working in a global, matrixed, fast-paced environment; proven ability to work with ambiguity;
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be fluent in English and Mandarin.
Description
Interact with business stakeholders to gather, document and review business process requirements with a keen eye on efficiency, data outputs and accessibility;
Take the lead on selecting an approach to identifying and managing issues, risks and requirements while ensuring all stakeholders are in agreement on project scope;
Provide timely and accurate updates on projects and activities as required by the business;
Collaborate with business partners to define, plan and implement process improvement initiatives;
Research & recommend best practices to satisfy business needs; analyze the root cause and provide solutions;
Drive continuous improvement to quantitatively and qualitatively improve costs, quality and service;
Identify and manage approved process improvement projects using continuous improvement methodologies (primarily Six Sigma and Lean);
Project manage cross-functional process improvement initiatives including acting as a supportive change agent for new solutions being deployed;
Collaborate with technical support teams to design the right future-proofed solution to satisfy the business need
