Software Licensing Analyst - IT, Excel, Service Management, Procurement



My client is a large Insurance firm based in South East London who require a Software Analyst with IT skills in Excel and ideally Sharepoint from a Procurement / Purchasing environment plus knowledge of Service Management to pull data from Software Contracts and create Service Management reports for the Software Licensing team.



As Software Licensing Analyst, the successful candidate will deliver timely, accurate and high quality Service Management reports and Management Information to key stakeholders both internal and external to the organisation. You will be expected to liaise with IT procurement to understand contracts in place / currently up for negotiation and work through contracts and support agreements to identify what the business have purchased in terms of Document license quantity, License models (concurrent, perpetual etc) and Support terms and duration. Other responsibilities will include managing the population of the Software licensing toolset, capturing and presenting information relevant to a variety of audiences within short timescales (ad-hoc reports) plus identify, own and manage the risks involved in running the business appropriate to the role, in line with the company risk framework.



To be considered you must have good knowledge of IT systems such as Excel and Sharepoint plus ideally have a Software Licensing, Software Asset Management or IT procurement background. You will have knowledge of Service Management and be accustomed to providing Service Management / MI (Management Information) reports.



Due to the nature of the role, you must have outstanding communication skills (written and verbal).
