Salary Scale: L8 £45,421.00 - L14 £52,653.00 per annum

We are recruiting for a committed, enthusiastic and energetic individual to join us as Head Teacher to continue the good work being done to provide care and education at our Outstanding Ofsted rated College.
Set in the heart of Longton, Pathway College Stoke is a purpose-built DfE-registered school that provides access to the national curriculum, vocational qualifications and work-related learning programmes. It takes a multi-disciplinary and person-centred approach to deliver care, education and professional/clinical services to enable students to develop their life skills and fulfil their potential for independence.
As Head Teacher, you will exercise dynamic leadership of the College ensuring the full development of the vision for the service, its promotion and continuous improvement. You will create and maintain a Centre of Excellence in the education of learners with social, behavioural and other difficulties, including autistic spectrum conditions. You will create a shared vision and strategic plan which inspires and motivates pupils, staff and all other members of the school community. This vision should express core educational values and moral purpose and be inclusive of stakeholdersâ values and beliefs. The strategic planning process is critical to sustaining school improvement and ensuring that the school moves forward for the benefit of its pupils. In addition you will work in collaboration with other senior managers, including the Groupâs Head of Education, to provide a complete service and to develop and grow the wider services offered to encourage an increase in referrals.
Applicants must meet and evidence the following criteria:-
⢠Holds a nationally recognised degree and school based teaching qualification.
⢠Relevant experience as a senior leader working with young people with social, emotional, behavioural and other difficulties.
⢠Good knowledge and application of Safeguarding procedures and relevant Regulatory Body regulations.
⢠Ability to motivate teams and individuals.
