Sourcing Transformation Manager

Madrid Area, Spain, ES - Information Technology and Services

Business role:

The sourcing transformation manager is responsible for helping the Head of Global Sourcing Management to ensure a coherent utilization of internal and external resources across the global GBS organization. The position plays a key role in the definition and implementation of coherent global strategies and frameworks for sourcing.

Main responsibilities:

1. Sourcing Strategy & Model

- Contributes in definition and validation of global sourcing strategy for internal information systems across Amadeus.

- Drives implementation of new sourcing strategy in the project mode together with CIO and GBS Division Heads, GBS senior management, purchasing, HR and external service providers to guarantee an optimized service delivery sourcing model to ensure coherent usage of resources in line with evolving business needs.

- Identifies and ensures measurement of the value based key performance indicators to demonstrate the business outcomes from sourcing and evaluate process effectiveness and efficiency, its implementation, revision and improvement efforts

2. Change management

- Applies a structured change management strategy and methodology for the changes related to the implementation of sourcing strategy and ensures that the change management activities are implemented into the overall project plan

- Develops a set of comprehensive, actionable and targeted change management and transition plans, including a communication plan, sponsor roadmap, employee engagement, training plan, resistance management plan and ensures that the change management issues are adequately addressed.

- Conducts organizational readiness assessments and develops relevant interventions

- Manages the design, development, and implementation of capacity building and knowledge transfer (training) based on the redesigned processes and systems

3. Project management and risk management

- Leads the implementation of new sourcing strategy through organizational transformation project

- Plans, executes, and delivers the project on time, in budget, and within scope in accordance with business priorities.

- Ensures all projects adhere to project methodology compliance standards set by Amadeus

- Partners with business sponsors to define success metrics and criteria

- Designs and approach and plans to manage the issues and risks associated to the implementation of the sourcing evolution project and tracks dependencies and risk mitigation steps.

4. Vendor Governance

- Establishes and drives a clear and efficient governance framework for the service management across various stakeholder groups allowing continuous service improvement. Ensure that appropriate governance bodies, processes and tooling are defined and followed.

- Monitors vendor delivery against service levels and follow up on KPIs. Ensure a consolidated performance reporting to the business stakeholders based on the agreed service levels and propose and initiate corrective actions to ensure and adapted level of service at an optimized price.

- Escalates problems and initiate corrective actions when required.
