This religious organisation has been in operation for almost 150 years and was set up to assist a wide variety of needs across various community groups. A newly created position of Personal Assistant to the Regional Leader has been set up to cater for the administrative needs of the QLD and NZ areas.
Reporting directly to the Regional Leader, this varied role will include: diary and travel management (both regional and international); coordinating meetings in office as well as over Skype and taking minutes; being the first point of contact for all phone calls and visitors into the office; reconciliation of credit cards; coordinating the administration officers across the region to ensure the entire administrative workload is complete and assisting the other managers of the QLD site as requested.
To be successful in securing an interview for this position, applicants must have a proven background as a personal or executive assistant. Strong Microsoft Office skills are essential along with the ability to coordinate workloads across different states and countries. This organisation has strong morals and ethics as they work with disadvantaged communities so respect and understanding of these ethics are vital to the success of this role.
