This iconic Tasmanian organisation is responsible for the management and operation of one of Tasmania's most significant pieces of infrastructure. Due to continued development and growth the opportunity exists for a Financial Accountant to join the Corporate Services team in a newly created position.



Reporting to the Financial Controller you'll undertake a broad range of Financial and Management Accounting duties. These will include preparation of journal entries, month end financial and management accounts and year-end reporting. Additionally you'll be involved in budgeting, forecasting and cash flow analysis. You'll also undertake ad-hoc project focussed tasks.



Degree qualified and currently progressing towards your CA/CPA qualification you possess sound knowledge of AAS and Taxation Law gained through practical experience. Your strong analytical skills are underpinned with excellent systems skills and highly developed written and oral communication skills. Your sound interpersonal skills reveal you to be a highly valued team member and you possess superb time management skills and are used to working to tight deadlines.
