Service Desk Analyst



Service Desk Analyst - Initial 3 month contract



My client is seeking a Service Desk Analyst to join their busy department initially on a 3 month contract.



The Service Desk Analyst will provide ticket logging, technical support and ticket resolution to a range of internal customers.



The role may involve ticket logging, fault resolution, remote support and full responsibility for call handling, escalations, follow up and customer service:



* First point of contact for Internal Customers

* Provide 1st Line incident diagnosis and fault resolution

* Logging incidents and service requests from internal customers received via telephone, email and helpdesk portal and process accordingly

* To provide an excellent customer service and value to end users

* Escalation of calls when required

* Ensure customers are kept updated on progress of calls

* Work in accordance to company policies, procedures and standards

* Maintain awareness of current appropriate technologies used by customers



Essential Experience/Skills

* Excellent verbal and written communication

* Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) or similar

* 2 years Previous experience of working as a Service Desk Analyst

* Previous experience of using a call management system

* Experience of supporting desktop applications including MS Office suite
