Server Migration Engineers

Reading, United Kingdom, GB - Telecommunications

Prestigious ISP and Unified Communications Solution provider is seeking a team of Windows Server Migration Engineers for a 8 month project. Servers are remotely located in the overseas, and you will be based in a central team in Berkshire.



Successful Engineers will be responsible for:-

- Working in the test environment

- Migrating Windows 2003 servers to Windows 2012

- Weekend and out of hours work will be required



We are seeking Server Engineers with a combination of the following skills:-



Microsoft Windows Server 2003 - Administration and Troubleshooting

Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Scripting and Programming

Server Migrations: Windows Server 2003 ~ Windows 2012

Virtualisation Technologies including VMware and/or Hyper V

Active Directory and Domain Structures

TCP/IP v4 and v6, Networking and Routing

Working within PRINCE2 Project Methodologies



Some working familiarity with at least two of following will be a distinct advantage;



Doubletake (X2V, P2V, V2V), AppZero, Changebase, .NET 1.1, ASP.NET, Installing IIS 6.0, Managing COM+, Integrating Web Services, COM+, IIS 6, XML Web Services.
