Head of Finance

My client, a renowned Debt recovery organisation based in Dublin, is creating a new position in their Finance team. They are seeking a commercially focused Head of Finance to be the key link between the Finance function and the Senior Managers in the business in UK and Ireland.



This role will require candidates to apply from a background of strong internal controls, technical accounting, but also need forecasting and budgeting experience. This candidate will have the highest level of exposure in this business, therefore a key background in Business Partnering in a large Financial Services or multinational organisation ideally.



The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant, from a strong audit background with SOX exposure. Previous people management experience is required in a high volume transaction environment. You will own the month end close, year end budgets, produce KPI packs, and cashflow management. You will also be dealing directly with the CFO on commercial dealings, due diligence, and M & A activity. Strong analytical skills are essential.
