Financial Accountant

Our client, a global leader in their field, is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their head office in Fareham. This job role will be responsible for preparing statutory accounts complying with international accounting standards and audit requirements for all companies within the Group.



You will be an ACA / ACCA qualified accountant with proven experience and a high technical understanding and working knowledge. This role joins a well established team and will require the provision of technical accounting advice in this hands on Accountant role, demonstrating sound communication skills in a professional and credible manner.



Key tasks include:

Preparing statutory and interim accounts

Recognising revenue, costs, assets and liabilities for the group

Responsibility for maintaining company accounting records accurately

Responsible for coordinating the month end accounting process across the Group to facilitate the month end process reporting requirements.

Providing technical accounting advice on matters including international accounting standards.

Strong technical accounting expertise, staying up to date with changing accounting standards
