Financial Analyst

Our client, a globally operating business services company, is looking for a qualified accountant to join as Finance Analyst based within their Southampton office. Reporting to the Financial Controller the main focus of this Analyst job role will be to provide technical finance support to the European operations, ensuring the integrity of the finance data being submitted by the host country finance functions.



This job role is extremely visible to a variety of stakeholders, both finance and non-finance. It will require sound analytical skills and the ability to add challenge and insight. Key tasks include the preparation of monthly financial reports including comparisons to budget, forecast, balance sheets and KPI's adding commentary, whilst you will also assist with initiatives to improve financial control, enhance process improvements and work with the host country finance managers providing support as required.



Due to the international scope of this role, though no travel is required, you will be a flexible and adaptable finance analyst and ideally have experience in IFRS reporting. This job role will also require an advanced level of Excel and IT abilities to include MS-Query and Macro level knowledge. Strong communication skills are a must as is a pro-active attitude as you will need to fully immerse yourself within the business operations in order to add the value that is required.
