Sales Specialist Commercial Printing
In this role of Sales Specialist for commercial printing you will be generating new business for the commercial printing and managed print services of HP. As an HP Sales Specialist you are focused on building strong professional working C-level relationships with HP’s enterprise, corporate and public customers. You will establish a high level of personal credibility as you deeply understand client business strategies and challenges to be able to act as a trusted advisor to client leaders and aggressively shape deals early in the sales cycle. With that you advance opportunities that result in profitable revenue growth for HP.
Besides knowing your customers challenges and strategies you demonstrate breadth and depth of knowledge in aligning HP capabilities to client business and IT priorities, and positioning relative to competitors. You leverage existing engagements and run-rate business to seed and grow new opportunities together with the enterprise account manager and your direct and virtual teams.
Qualifications
Education and Experience Required:
As the suitable Sales Specialist candidate for printing you typically:
- Have a University or Bachelor's Degree;
- Have 10-12 years new business sales and account management experience, mainly in the printing industry;
- Are able to show an extraordinarily strong track record of account management and sales performance through consultative, solution selling and business development skills.
- Possess highly developed business development and negotiation skills at the CXO level.
- Have expertise in managing end-to-end sales processes involving complex, multi-portfolio, large deals.
- Submit timely and accurate forecasts and continually coaches team to do same.
- Develop a comprehensive business-case approach in crafting client proposals and in HP-internal requests for resource and / or investments.
- Possess deep knowledge of the vertical industry and the client's position, challenges and strategy within the industry including security, risk and compliance issues
- Keeps abreast of industry trends as related to opportunities to create added value for the client.
