Technical Project Manager for Web Applications with German

The Technical Project Manager for Web Applications delivers the Data Center Infrastructure project services related to data and web center transformation, consolidation, virtualization, automation & cloud solutions.

Key responsibilities:

• Coordinate and implement the detailed technical design solution to the problem as identified by the Technical Consultant

• Create and maintain effective customer relationships so as to insure customer satisfaction

• Coordinate the implementation of new installations, designs, and migrations for technology solutions in one of the following work domains: infrastructure, Web applications or virtualized platforms

• Initiate or develop new methods to apply to the situation

• Coach others in area of expertise. Regularly produce and contribute to internally published material such as knowledge briefs, service delivery kit components and modules, etc.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Degree in computer science or equivalent

• Extensive experience in the planning and implementation of IT infrastructure projects

• More than 3 years’ experience in the planning and execution of application deployment

• Experience in design, planning, administration and operation of IT infrastructure environments

• Experience with heterogeneous technologies in enterprise environments

• Fluency in German and English

• Willingness to travel abroad 25% of the time

• Strong analytical and leading skills to instruct colleagues

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Technical Knowledge Requirements:

• Deep know-how in the Linux operating system (Redhat and Suse)

• Knowledge and experience in ESX / VMWare environments

• Automation in Linux and VMWare environments with knowledge of the editors, Linux Shell Scripting and Cronjobs

• Knowledge of IT Infrastructure for Java application deployment

Any of the following would give you an advantage:

• Design, Leading and implementation of web applications and deployments

• Architectural design, planning and sizing of systems according to the requirements in the area of Web application

• Experience in web application developments

• Confident in dealing Apache and TomCat server (design, planning, implementation and operation)

• Experience with IBM websphere (8.5 and above) and IBM HTTP

• Knowledge in the field Continuous Integration Platform (VCS, GIT, Jenkins, Nexus, etc.)

• Knowledge with Piwik, Liferay, solar and Bird

• Knowledge of the subject area storage systems, software development, operating systems, virtualization, cloud technologies

• Knowledge of automating server and system deployments

• Experience with high-availability solutions

• Knowledge of databases

• Experience in networking technologies with knowledge of security, firewall, web application firewall
