This leading solutions business has developed a strong reputation in the industry for hiring top talent with strong commercial acumen. Striving to be competitively placed in the market they are seeking the support of a Commercial Sales Specialist in this newly created role to join the Commercial Team based in North Ryde.
Your overall purpose is the support the commercial arrangement of the corporate functions through evaluating sales performance and pricing commerciality. You will play a key role in the tender process and follow through to evaluating the success of recent tenders and bids measuring their profitability. Core responsibilities include creating market and competitor analysis models, system streamlining, projecting financing and creating pricing models as well as deal with P&L's and cashflows.
A large part of your role will be around Pricing and Product analysis and therefore you are required to be an expert in this area and have experience in working in complex industries with challenging pricing models. Ideally your experience will be gained from a Business to Business environment and you will have had responsibility for large contracts. In return for your detailed knowledge of the pricing arena you will gain excellent commercial exposure to the operations teams and play a key role in the sales process. You will be required to challenge the business, provide direction and justification as well as ensure the commerciality and competitiveness of the businesses contracts.
