Senior Quality Engineer, Mayo. New Position

Newly created job due to $30m investment to the Mayo plant.



An excellent job opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quality / Validation Engineer in Mayo. This Senior Quality job is with a medical device manufacturer that are investing $30m in developing the plant to meet the increasing global demand for their highly innovative product. As a result of this expansion, they are adding a number of Quality Engineers to their team, including one Senior QE.



An integral part of the Quality Team, the Senior Quality Engineer will join the company at an exciting time of growth and development. You will be provided with the opportunity to play a lead role in developing protocols and driving strategies in the quality department, thus strong leadership skills are pivotal for this job.



The main focus of this job is to develop and implement a Master Validation Plan for the product's assembly processes and to lead quality engineering activities for this product line. As a senior team member, you will lead quality engineering and validation projects in the quality engineering team and potentially manage contract staff.

With a strong element of validation in this job, the Senior Quality Engineer will be responsible for developing validation strategies and completing DV/IQ/OQ/PQ protocols. You will complete CAPA investigations, manage internal audits and coordinate process capability analysis on the product's processes, as well as completing process risk management and FMEA.

As well as supporting the existing product, you will also provide QE support to the NPD team, including developing product specifications and quality plans.
