MES Analyst III

Harrisburg, Pennsylvania Area, US - Biotechnology

The incumbent will be a member of the Manufacturing IT Systems Group which provides

Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Process/Plant Information Systems (PIMS),

Laboratory Information Systems (LIMS), Manufacturing Intelligence Systems, Systems

Integration with SAP and various Plant Floor Systems & Devices. The position will be located

at the Bayer Consumer Care Facility, located in Myerstown, PA.



Position Responsibilities:

• Assist with the operation of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) a mission critical GxP production system;

• Assist with the operation of an OSIsoft PI System;

• Play a role during new system implementations at the manufacturing site;

• Assist with future upgrades, enhancements and change control procedures pertinent to MES & PIMS;

• Create and maintains documentation for operation and upgrades and trains users;

• Assist with the GMP compliance of the systems and batch record and data integrity;

• Interact with business partners and clients, at the plant site, regarding business and technology requirements to provide the best solution for implementation;

• Assist with the, specification, design, development, installation, configuration, test, and integration of solutions;

• Have responsibility for production support and maintenance of solutions.
