Our client, an expanding and highly reputable Bookkeeping business, is seeking a Bookkeeper to join their Head Office operations on the Sunshine Coast. Reporting to the Director and working within a small office structure, this position will see the successful candidate deliver effective and efficient financial management services for their clients.



The overall objective of this position is to ensure the office runs smoothly, whilst mentoring a small team, and delivering accurate and detailed financials for their client base which is Australia wide. Key financial responsibilities include full-function bookkeeping through to BAS preparation and lodgement, payroll processing, reconciliations, P&L reports, balance sheets and GST reports, as well as transactional processing.



To be successful, you will have demonstrated experience in a similar role and an ability to work collaboratively with a small team, and lead them into future growth. You will be a competent user of computerised financial systems, more specifically Xero, and have demonstrated experience across the Microsoft Office Suite. Critical to this position are effective communication skills, exceptional time management patience and a positive attitude, as well as an ability to work to tight deadlines.
