Deputy Finance Manager

The Deputy Finance Manager supports the Portfolio Finance Manager in providing leadership within the Portfolio to support delivery of an appropriate Financial Risk Rating and or contribution margin leading to improved financial performance. The role provides accounting and business information to clinical and non-clinical colleagues.



The Deputy Finance Manager works as part of the Portfolio management team to provide financial input into strategic decision making, ensuring the continuous development of financial information and integrating new sources of information.

· Staff Management responsibilities



You will be Part Qualified or Qualified CCAB/CIMA with at least 3 years finance experience ideally from the NHS or the private sector. You will be experienced in staff management, preparing and authorising journals, financial and business planning and dealing with budget managers. Confident, ambitious with a can do attitude is vital. Intermediate to advanced IT skills are required and the ability to present complex and technical information to non-finance.
