• Manage and periodically renew all import licenses, trade licenses and assist with technical licenses required for the imports


• Regularly interact with govt authorities for timely renewal of licenses


• Work with the government relation team and assist them with lobbying with relevant government authorities


• represent HP in the trade and industry association meetings.


• Manage import operations including working with the logistics team to arrange for required product inspection at origin including applications


• Manage brokers and work with them to ensure timely imports take place in a compliant manner


• Manage all ongoing litigations and file appeals to the authorities whenever necessary


• Manage duty and tax payment for all imports and work with controllership for the same


• Work with local business team to understand their business plan (new product launches) and accordingly work out the process including the necessary licenses


• work with regional supply chain team to ensure a seamless product import into the country


• Independently develops solutions for a project, including managing complex issues, by applying in-depth supply chain and industry knowledge.


• Interprets data received from more junior individual contributors and develops recommendations that optimize performance.


• Consults with business leaders on a wide range of supply chain and compliance issues
