My client is looking to recruit across different levels into their newly created regulatory team.

Responsible for coverage of key regulatory issues deemed compromising to the integrity of the market, you will investigate high-profile, high-risk issues, often attracting political and media interest. These may range from capital deficits and prudential risks, to mis-selling, fraud and financial crime amongst others.



You will join a newly created function, helping to develop the team and deliver effective and efficient procedures to deal with the increasingly complex and far-reaching cases.



Understanding the risk posed by each case, you will use your experience, judgement and influence to mitigate the risk; obtaining and analysing relevant information, articulating recommendations, all whilst maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.



Skills required:

• Strong oral and written communication skills.


• Can demonstrate a good sense of judgement and business acumen.


• Able to demonstrate the rationale behind decisions whilst also being open to challenge and feedback from colleagues on these decisions.


• Evidence of strong analytical skills: able to analyse complex financial and non-financial information, identify and present key issues and solutions.

This is an incredibly unique position, providing the opportunity to help influence the strategy of this newly created team whilst working on a variety of complex cases covering a broad range of firms and products.
