Digital Manager, Capabilities and Infrastructure

HP is looking for a candidate to join our Global Media and Digital Marketing organization. This position will play a key role within our Digital Capabilities and Platform team, which is responsible for advancing HP’s paid, owned and earned digital capabilities through the use of technology. Key areas of focus include programmatic media, social media and driving overall advancement of data driven, integrated digital media practices.
We are looking for a senior individual contributor who will help us develop our next generation digital media technology architecture and play a key role with configuration and management of our social platforms and tools . This team member must have knowledge and passion for emerging digital marketing strategies and tactics, social, mobile, digital media technologies, and an understanding of their convergence.
This role will primarily be focusing on configuration, optimization and management of our social media technology stack supporting a robust global social footprint and diverse user environment. You will work with business and technology partners to provide platform expertise and support deployment, operations and user enablement of existing and new social management solutions (including social listening, relationship management, social buying and security platforms and tools). This individual will also develop platform policies and governance, user enablement via training and support as well as provide relationship management with key technology suppliers and oversee operational processes and resources.
Responsibilities include:
Working across business groups and functions to develop the appropriate global platform standards to ensure consistent application across the organization
Drive issue resolution for platform specific items or issues
Prepare and present appropriate materials to key business and technology stakeholders in order to gain agreement on direction, scope and status of ongoing projects
Consult with key partners on social media / platform operational strategies based on solid understanding of social media technologies and architecture as well as privacy and security protocols
Maintain up-to-date understanding of key social media technology trends and capabilities
Manage governance related forum, policy definition and communications in partnership with sponsors and consumers of Social Operations services
Define and deploy social media platform operations management processes in line with industry standards and HP needs worldwide
Provide direct oversight of Social Media Operations projects and extended support team
Reviews and approves program / project plans / monitor status
Acts as initial point of escalation for issues
Oversees partner team performance and expectations
Qualifications
Requirements:
7 years digital marketing and advertising
3-5 years’ experience operating social media management tools (Hootsuite, Lithium, Sprinklr, Radian6 etc..), ideally in a global capacity
Demonstrated experience and passion for the social eco-system (i.e; Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Vine, Pinterest, blogs, forums etc..)
Ability to clearly define and synthesize solutions that balance user needs with the realities of technology
Understanding of the digital/social/ad technologies and their value across the paid, owned, earned eco-system
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Experience developing process and operational procedures related to digital/social marketing
Able to work independently, collaboratively and on deadline
