A new opportunity exists for a strong media adviser to join a busy division of a government department. This role looks after all the department's media needs and requires you to liaise with various business units.



A strong media focus has led to the creation of this role. You will be responsible for developing relationships with key media service providers as well as responding to media enquiries and creating media releases. Furthermore, you will develop key messages, and brief the senior stakeholders on both contentious issues and proactive media opportunities.



To be successful in this role you will need to have a strong background in media relations. You will also have experience working in the public sector. Furthermore, you will have excellent writing skills and a strong attention to detail.
