HP Presales Enterprise Server Storage & Networking (ESSN) organization is seeking to identify a highly motivated and qualified candidate as an ISS Solution Architect.


Job Description


As a Presales Solution Architect, you engage with our sales teams, customers and partners in Sweden. Through building close, trusting relationships with our customers and partners you drive to achieve the best solutions that meet customer requirements, while effectively differentiating HP recommendations from the competition, and achieving quota metrics.


In this job role, you will support multiple accounts, leveraging specialized knowledge in products, infrastructure, or vertical industry segments, to ensure that solutions accurately link to customer’s business challenges. You will research solution alternatives, provide initial configuration and sizing data, and design solutions that are well targeted to meeting customer business needs.


You will consult with account teams or partners on technical questions, and assist in advancing sales through communication of benchmarks and through orchestrating or direct execution of proof-of-concept walkthroughs, product demonstrations, and technical presentations. You will manage or conduct solution acceptance testing, and knowledge transfer to ensure a positive total customer experience (TCE).


Additionally, given HP’s ability to truly deliver a Converged Infrastructure solution, you will get the opportunity to collaborate with Storage, Networking, Technical Services and Cloud Systems Specialists to provide Data Center solutions unmatched in the industry.


Key Responsibilities:


• Drive solution selling through expert consultative support on HPs suite of products and services


• Team with account managers in the development and review of account and sales plans


• Accurately translate and align customer business needs with HP solutions


• Provide technical direction to delivery key transition initiatives


• Understand HP ESSN total product portfolio to be able to give guidance on technology direction


• Promote innovation and thought leadership in key accounts


• Create the functional and technical designs essential for guiding solution development


• Leverage technical sales experience and information resources to educate sales teams, peers, partners and customers


• Provide input to and/or respond to RFPs, RFI-type assignments from customers




Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in technical selling and/or consultative selling, preferably in a Presales role


• Knowledge in HP's technology & solutions, with expertise in area of server specialization


• Strong consulting & Presales skills


• Good knowledge and experience of working in LINUX environments


• Fluency in Swedish and English – written and spoken


• You are a Swedish citizen due to some of our customers’ requirements, and preferably lives in greater Stockholm area
