Global 1st Tier Bank is seeking a high calibre and experienced Senior Business Consultant to join them based in Hong Kong focused on Global projects.





In this role you will be responsible for managing / executing business efforts of small-mid consulting projects or play a key role in one of the global priority programmes. You will work with the business to define detailed value-focused solution options based on the opportunity and provide recommendations. You must constructively question current thinking and status quo and help turn innovative ideas into reality. You must anticipate issues and risk and mitigate them accordingly. You must drive meetings to decision points, influencing and negotiating outcomes. You must interact with key business stakeholders and confidently challenge the business and solve complex scenarios in a team environment. You must work across global and regional teams to ensure commonality of understanding and objectives - i.e. local teams are focused on delivering against global imperatives whilst those same global imperatives are shaped to reflect the business needs of the region. You are required to capture key learning from each consulting engagement and feed these back into Global Change Delivery methodologies, best practice and ways of working.





You will hold a degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field. You must have proven experience working on consulting / change initiatives in Banking and Financial Services organizations. You will possess excellent facilitation skills and experience in managing stakeholder requirements and design sessions. You must hold an excellent track record of fostering and maintaining best practice solutions and tools to improve / optimise work flow, identify opportunities for synergy and integration, simplify complex processes to maximise the Bank's efficiency. You will have solid experience in managing and supporting others to achieve objectives effectively. You will have good experience with data analysis and interpretation. You will have familiarity and expertise with financial services business and governance models. You must have proficiency in Change Management methodology.
