One of the UK's leading advisory firms who are Independently owned are looking to recruit an additional Financial Services Client Support to join their expanding team in Leeds City Centre.
Overall Objective:
To support one or more consultants in their efforts to:
Develop new client opportunities and service a panel of existing clients profitably and in a manner which is compatible with the coming "RDR" business environment and the principles of "Treating customers fairly"
Maintain client loyalty and existing business retention
Comply with all regulatory requirements
Duties, responsibilities and accountabilities:
Process new business applications and schemes in accordance with published procedures, and take shared responsibility for ensuring that suitability report, fact find and anti-money laundering procedures are property followed
Have written and telephone contact directly with clients whenever appropriate
Prepare valuations of clients' investment and pension portfolios
Maintain and use effective diary systems, primarily via 1st Adviser Office
Investigate, resolve and respond to enquiries about existing business, fees and commission, etc
Manage SIPP, SSAS, GPP and other schemes for which the jobholder is responsible, including on-line payments leavers, joiners and annual reviews.
Carry out "one off" requests from consultants and management as required by the needs of the business.
Accurately update and maintain client records on 1st Adviser Office and paper files.
Routinely and consistently follow FS procedures and compliance requirements, as published, suggesting improvements whenever appropriate.
Prioritise and take proactive responsibility for own workload in accordance with the published procedures, including taking ownership of tasks and enquiries, identifying problems and suggesting solutions.
Keep consultants and line management up dated with progress towards agreed deadlines and communicate clearly in all directions on work related matters.
Work as part of a team and will accept a shared responsibility for colleagues' workloads, to ensure that workload imbalances are managed effectively and do not impact negatively on customer service.
The successful candidate will have relevant IFA administration experience and will have excellent financial planning product knowledge. It will also be desirable if you have experience of dealing with corporate products.
