Our client is a rapidly expanding SME in the Technology sector.
They have a Turnover of circa £10 million and a growing customer base.
As part of their continued expansion plans they seek to recruit a qualified accountant to join them as a Finance Manager.
Reporting into the Finance Director, you will be responsible for managing a small accounts team to ensure that monthly management accounts are produced on a timely basis. You will lead the year end process and conduct all liaison with the auditors.
You will be required to produce detailed performance data as well as reporting regularly on cashflow which is a vital part of the future success plans of the business. Future growth may involve acquisitions and you will have a part to play integrating acquired businesses.
We are looking for a qualified accountant who has experience of managing a small team. You will have experience of managing cashflow and have experience of developing management reports for an SME.
You will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to demonstrate how you have worked with other parts of the business, in particular sales teams, to help them understand the financial implications of their actions.
You should have advanced Excel skills and some previous software implementation skills would be advantageous.
