A busy role in a small Accounts team. The role will include:
Input invoices and credit notes and ensure VAT/ Nominal ledger codes are correct
Filing invoices and credit notes
Check payment lists , pay suppliers
Input and allocate all payments and discounts onto the supplier accounts
Reconcile statements and phone for missing invoices or credit notes
Set up new suppliers, credit check and validate VAT Numbers
Maintain the purchase ledger
Update spreadsheets for discount, awaiting credits, P11Ds, reconcile and top up the petty cash.
The successful candidate will have relevant experience and PC skills to include Excel and word
