Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist the Enterprise Security Architects with support in security analysis of the current and proposed security architecture.

• Ensure all new product/technologies go through enterprise change configuration board (CCB) process prior to approval.

• Provide security reviews and assessments

• Provide support for the Pentagon Information Technology Project’s Life Cycle though reviewing and validating security impacts of requirements, designs, integration, and deployed technology/products.

• Develop a 2 to 5 year Enterprise Security Strategic Plan. Update the plan annually.

• Support the customer in discovering Information Protection Needs. Provide consulting services for security technologies that include, but are not limited to, telecommunications and network security, access control, disaster recovery, operations security, physical security, cryptology, security management practices, law, investigation, and ethics.

• Establish standard designs and configurations to address enterprise security gaps.

• Identify potential network security problems and risks, develop and submit recommended solutions to the appropriate Government
