Senior Internal Auditor - Insurance (Newly Qualified)

A leading provider of global risk management services, insurance and reinsurance brokerage that provides results for clients via innovative and effective risk and people solutions and through industry-leading global resources and technical expertise are now recruiting for a Senior Internal Auditor to join their audit function based in central London.



In this internal audit position you will lead and participate in audits throughout Continental Europe, the Middle East, Africa (EMEA) and UK evaluating and ensuring the adequacy of internal controls for the various business lines and key business processes. You will assist the Audit Manager in developing audit procedures in line with the overall audit methodology. Through working with key business partners across the entire international business you will develop a unique perspective of the business making you an important player in future strategic decisions for the company.



Responsibilities include:



-Coordinating and participating in the completion of audit test procedures and communicating findings back to the Audit Manager.

-Produce and assist in the presentation of the audit plan to senior stakeholders.

-Liaising with senior stakeholders to outline key deficiencies and make recommendations for improvement.



Ideal candidate:



-You must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship

-Professional designations/certifications, such as Certified Public Accountant/Chartered, Accountant CPA/ACA, Certified Internal Auditor, etc, are preferred.

-Ideally from newly qualified to two years post qualification experience.

-In a Big 4 or top ten practice firm where you have audited in the insurance industry.

-A second language is preferred though not essential.
