PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITIONWorking with the existing team on all tax reporting functions at UTAS, including the financial reporting of taxes (ASC 740), performance of tax compliance activities, addressing tax issues raised by operations and supporting the implementation of strategies to reduce the companys effective tax rate.MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIESSupport all tax reporting (ASC 740) and compliance efforts for UTAS, including account reconciliations and providing support on all tax accounting and reporting mattersSupport ETR projects to insure achievement of projected overall effective tax rateSupports / Manages efforts related to Foreign Source Income (FSI) maximize FSI strategies (863b/862) and mitigate negative FSI on loss transactionsAssists with the preparation of management presentationsSupport the identification and implementation of process improvementsSupport ACE initiatives/projectsSupport tax technology effortsSupport business operations initiatives providing both tax technical and business planning supportAssist with special projects including, historical tax rate analysis, review of tax rate and law changes, etc.
