This ultra modern Hotel Chain has opened its first property in Brisbane CBD offering a unique and innovative product to the business and leisure traveller alike. As they continue to fine tune their operations, they have an exciting need for an Assistant Accountant to assist the Financial Controller in the set up and establishment of internal policies and processes for the finance function.



Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to overseeing accounts payable, receivable and payroll, establishing internal policies and processes, cash flow management, maintaining data integrity and systems as well as providing assistance to the Financial Controller across a variety of ad-hoc projects.



To be considered for this position, you will have previous experience working in a hotel environment with a full understanding of terminology and operations. You will have a tertiary qualification in accounting coupled with a strong eye for detail and improving operational efficiencies. You will be a highly organised individual with strong communication and organisational skills.



This is an exciting opportunity to join this vibrant and energetic business on a 6 month contract with a view to being extended or made permanent.
