We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable officer to join this close knit, busy team. You will be responsible for the daily processing of high volume (200+) invoices, supplier/branch enquiries over the phone and through email, matching invoices to purchase orders, processing expenses and credit notes, resolving claims & returns, GL and supplier reconciliations, reporting and assisting with month end procedures and customer service.
To be considered in this role, you will have similar high volume AP experience gained in a recent position. Your exceptional written and oral communication skills, coupled with the ability to go the extra mile for your suppliers and customers will see you thrive in this role. You will enjoy working in a fast paced, busy team environment, with a strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritise your time. Your investigative mind and strong problem solving skills will see you constantly challenged and never bored!
It is essential that you have intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables, vlookups etc) and a good understanding of accounting concepts. Experience with Month End tasks and deadlines is high advantageous.
