My public sector client based in Edinburgh is looking for two Interim Procurement Managers on a 3 - 4 months basis to help the team move through a time of change.



The successful candidates will develop and implement a category management approach to spend and embed the procurement strategy, procurement journey and procurement tools across the department.



By actively engaging with internal and external stakeholders you will work to understand their needs and increase the scope of procurement activity by providing expert procurement advice, utilising their EU and wider procurement knowledge, this will ensure governance of spend and the delivery of best value procurement options.



Through interrogation of local procurement strategies and the implementation of national and local contracts the postholder will deliver excellent value for money contracts, ensuring governance of spend and compliance to EU procurement regulations.
