Senior Customer & Market Insight Analyst

Edinburgh - 6 Month FTC



An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Customer & Market Insight Analyst to join one of the UK's leading financial services organisations based in Edinburgh. As Senior Customer & Market Insight Analyst you will work primarily with Sales Consultants and other stakeholders in the business with a primary focus on winning new business through delivery of excellent competitor analysis and support material, submissions and best advice support.

The main duties of the role will include:

· Analysis of other provider's propositions, particularly in the corporate market, with a focus on translating the findings into meaningful, clear messages and material.

· Ensure the company proposition is presented as competitively as possible on all research databases and surveys.

· Manage the tender response process; ensuring a high quality, accurate and competitive document is produced.

· Identify, collate and communicate key internal triggers, MI or intelligence, which provides valuable insight to key stakeholders.

Required knowledge, skills and experience:



· A knowledge and understanding of the commercial environment facing product providers.

· Ability to identify, articulate and communicate the key conclusions from competitor analysis.

· Ability to engage with key stakeholders in the business.

· Ability to work on projects on your own or as part of a team and to lead work where required.

· Excellent planning and organisational skills.

· Excellent working knowledge of Excel and Word.

· Graduate or equivalent professional qualification.

· A broad knowledge and understanding of the financial services industry and the regulatory and legislative framework.
