Finance Business Analyst

Gloucester, United Kingdom, GB - Accounting

Reporting into the Commercial Financial Controller.

The role is a key member of the Commercial Finance team which provides a full range of Financial, Planning, Reporting and Decision Support, maintaining Financial Management of Turnover and Spend. The key role will be to work closely with both Customer Marketing and Finance Teams to develop a robust promotional and trade investment management framework, an accurate base of contribution and promotional reporting and accrual assessment for all brands within the business.



Key responsibilities

· SAP Integrated Planning (IP) control and management

· Be a key participant in the internal monthly reporting cycle, managing the accurate, up-to-date and timely production of monthly promotional analysis reporting

· Prepare concise and insightful performance bridges for actual and forecast performance on a monthly basis

· Monthly contribution reporting

· Managing the accuracy, reasonableness and consistency of promotional accruals

· Managing the accuracy and reasonableness of promotional settlements and audit claims

· Engage with key stakeholders to review and comment on key relevant investment reports

· Year end promotional accruals review

· Assist with contribution budgets and other longer term planning cycles

· Managing day 1 - 20 information flow timelines

· Constantly assess and review business processes for efficiency and relevance

· Other reasonable ad hoc duties as required

· Advanced excel knowledge

· Numerical analysis

· Works well within a team

· Excellent time management and prioritisation

· Able to proactively problem solve

· Commercial background
