Identity Access Management Engineer

Paisley, United Kingdom, GB - Information Technology and Services

Experienced Identity and Access Management Engineer: Responsible for building/implementing and operational support of ESM IAM landscape



Duties include but are not limited to :

• Change planning and Change management


• Working with other ESM application teams to coordinate seamless release activities.
  

The IAM Engineer will be responsible for the following areas :

• Secure Access points


• Java based web services as well as SAML 2.0 compliant Identity


• Providers in support of the ESM applications and customers
  

In addition the IAM Engineer will provide support to Level II for troubleshooting the IAM domains

• Candidates should have a good proportion of the following:

• Previous Software Build and Deploy experience

• Excellent Troubleshooting and debug skills

• Strong knowledge of Scripting - Unix Shell scripting

• Good knowledge of Databases (Oracle)

• Good knowledge of Web clients, SiteMinder, JBoss 5 above, Apache HTTPD 2.2, & SOAP web interfaces

• Good knowledge of Federation Identity Providers (MS ADFS, CA Federation Manager)

• Good knowledge of Federation Service Providers (CA Federation Manager is a plus)

• Experience with SiteMinder R12 Policy Server - Administration and troubleshooting

• Experience with Federation Identity Provider(s) - Build/Deploy and troubleshooting

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to develop and follow processes

• Practical ITIL knowledge

• Preferred ITIL foundation certificate.

• DNS fundamentals

• TCP/IP high level familiarity (tcp connections, etc.)

• Firewalls - high level familiarity

• Network Load Balancing high level concepts

• Specific Technical Areas across ESM:

• Apache HTTPD Server

• Apache Modules - Apache Modules - Proxy, Jakarta, Headers, Expire & Rewrite

• OpenSSL

• x.509 (SSL Certificate) fundamentals

• JBoss or Tomcat

• SiteMinder Web Agents

• SiteMinder Policy Server

• MS ADFS

• CA Federation Manager

• Other SAML 2.0 compliant Identity Provider

• XML

• Linux Server administration

• Unix, Linux, Windows

• Soap based java web services

• Oracle Client

• Oracle 11g

Qualifications


Education and Experience Required:



Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience. May have Master’s degree in related field. Often holds entry-level certification(s) in work field. May hold intermediate-level certification(s) in work field.

Candidates must be willing and eligible to undergo UK Security Clearance.
