Job Description:
This is a MS Project Web Access and MS project Server role largely responsible for delivering application development and management services to the organization. We are looking to have a highly competent and motivated individual in this role.
This Sharepoint Applications Developer role requires good technical acumen and a high sense of ownership of the tasks assigned. They are expected to complete development tasks that meet HP standards and practices. They are also expected to have a strong personal drive to improve oneself and learn new technologies.
Primary responsibilities of this role would include:
o Have a strong knowledge on MS Project Web Access and MS project Server developer tools.
o Ensure coding standards are followed
o Create and execute Unit Testing
o Provide estimates using different estimation models
o Design and develop all assigned modules on time
o Ensures developed code is fully tested
o Contribute on technical discussions
o Create detailed documentation
o Diagnose and resolve performance problems.
o Good understanding of the different design patterns.
o Write and maintain documentation, including standards, procedures, high level and low level designs.
o Knowledge sharing and contribution to the community
Qualifications
Your Profile:
o BS degree (computer science or equivalent preferred)
o Candidate must have at least 4 years of experience with MS Project Web Access and MS project Server
o In-depth knowledge and experience working with different databases such as SQL Server and Oracle
o Good grasp for Javascript, jQuery, and other client side frameworks
o Must be able to demonstrate initiative to identify issues, develop a solution and champion its implementation.
o Experience deploying solution to enterprise environments.
o Strong verbal and written communication skills
