Working as part of our Finance and Performance Management team within Accenture's Communications, Media and Technology group, you will join a team offering a range of management consulting, strategy, technology, digital and systems integration solutions.

Description



Our Management Consulting professionals have primary accountability for mobilising, managing and delivering projects and programmes. Management Consulting professionals work collaboratively with our clients to develop and implement industry leading strategies and solutions. This includes activities from business development and commercial structuring, to project delivery into operations, and thought leadership / point of view development.



Accenture is looking for Finance and Enterprise Performance experts, with a background in Telecommunications and Media & Entertainment industry and ideally management consulting, to join a high performing management consultant team.



Basic Qualifications:



1. 4+ years of Management Accounting, Corporate Finance or similar experience



2. 4+ years of Finance Business Architecture and Operating Model design experience



3. Experience in Telecommunications or Media & Entertainment industry particularly in either corporate finance functions or finance operations / finance shared services departments



4. 3+ years of business case development experience



5. Experience in senior stakeholder engagement (Finance senior leadership, Business stakeholders, etc.)



Additional Preferred Skill Requirements:



Candidates will likely have very deep skills in one area or a combination of skills across several of the areas:



- Support origination and sales efforts for Finance transformation and process reengineering opportunities



- Deliver Finance transformation programs for both business and technology initiatives



- Manage day-to-day project team operations and provide oversight for a team of consulting staff



- Develop and promote the Finance and Enterprise Performance practice for Telecommunications or Media and Entertainment through development of assets, recruitment of relevant skills and internal communications



- Collaborate with internal Strategy and Technology partners to develop joint Finance and Enterprise Performance go-to-market strategies



Professional Skill Requirements



• Industry-recognised qualifications / certifications for Finance, for example, CA/CPA, MBA or equivalents



• Experience with ERP and supporting systems for Finance processes (i.e. SAP)



• Undergraduate degree (at minimum)



• Excellent communication (English written and oral) and interpersonal skills



• Team leadership skills and proven ability to work independently and as a team member



• Experience of high profile work within tight timelines. Good organisational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills



• Extensive project and stakeholder management experience.



• Communications and governance management.



• An ability to quickly understand the key value drivers in a business and how these impact the scope and approach of client assignment.



• Experience of running Governance Committees with senior stakeholders, with all associated processes.



• Proven ability to rapidly distil key facts from multiple sources and to synthesise appropriate ideas and actions into plans.



• Thorough understanding of the administration and hygiene side of project and programme management, e.g. RAIDs, plans, budgets, forecasts, resource management, etc.



• Understanding of the key drivers for change in Telecommunications and Media & Entertainment clients in the current economic and political environment.



• Experience or desire to shape client propositions and commercials.



• Strong problem solving skills.



• Experience of having lead or had a material role on Finance transformational programmes of work.
