Job Description :
Schedule: Full-time
· Deliver high quality data historian related client project tasks and deliverables within timeline and budget.
· Lead the implementation and administration of data historian system in power plant and other plants in resource industry.
· Lead the design and build of power plant heat rate calculation and deviation analysis solution on top of data historian.
· Support the design and implementation of power generation energy efficiency analysis solution on top of data historian.
· Maintain good client relationship by high quality and value added solution.
· Assist business development including proposal preparation.
Qualification :
· 3+ years hands-on experience in implementing data historian and SIS solution in power generation industry.
· Proficient in mainstream real-time data historian products, OSI PI and eDNA preferred.
· Hands-on experience of setup and administration of historian server, configuring and debugging interfaces to various sources system including mainstream DCS, RDBMS, Excel files.
· Proficient in energy efficiency index calculation principle (output/input method, loss method), and implementing it in historian. Familiar with performance equation and steam functions of historian product.
· Familiar with historian's data access API, including PI SQL, SDK.
· Familiar with principle and methods of heat rate deviation analysis and online performance testing.
· Client facing project experience and good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
· Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment.
· Degree in power generation industry, thermal engineering or process control engineering.
· Proficient in spoken and written English
· Business travel is acceptable
