This well respected, European headquartered, Life Insurer is looking for a Head of Finance Operations to join their Singapore team. With an impressive geographical footprint, and enviable international brand, this is a rare opportunity for an ambitious and driven finance professional to join a market leader which provides excellent scope for long term career growth and professional development.



With ultimate responsibility for the finance operations function across the business, the successful candidate will be expected to act as the bridge between finance and other departments, strengthening controls and ensuring excellence in delivery. Leading the day to day operations of a number of diverse business units, the successful candidate will have significant line management responsibilities. This is a high profile and demanding position and requires somebody with a high degree of tenacity and drive. Strong communication skills are essential for this role as is the ability to motivate and mentor staff.



This is an exciting role within the business and requires somebody able to hit the ground running and shape the responsibility and remit of this position. You will be expected to improve processes and performance across the finance function. This will include driving, and contributing to, a wider range of change management projects and initiatives.



With over eight years relevant finance operations experience within the financial services sector, the successful candidate will have an accountancy degree or professional accountancy qualification. A proven track record of leading a large team is important for this role, as is experience of working in a collaborative way with a diverse range of stakeholders.
