In order to drive this continued success through our talented workforce, we have an exciting opportunity for a Security Sales Specialist to be part of the Enterprise Security Services (ESS), the specialist IT Security division of HP.
ESS has a wide portfolio of Services to address key security issues including Data Loss Prevention, Threat Intelligence and Scanning, Managed Security Response, Secure Content, Infrastructure Security and more. With solutions to include Cloud Security Readiness Solutions, Supplier Security Compliance Management Solutions, Security Breach Management Solutions, Security Consulting Services, Security Governance Services and Managed Security Services we can provide an effective deterrent to today's tough, sophisticated and targeted threats by bringing together people, processes and technology to deliver information security solutions that protect the hybrid Enterprise.
By working closely with the SEA Sales/Account Managers and Consulting Teams, the Security Sales Specialist is responsible in successfully driving security solution sales by working on deals that typically require complex, consultative customer proposals, tailoring strategy and solutions to meet the needs of the customers.
Responsibilities
- Managed a complex portfolio of deals ranging from US$2m to US$2.3m for Security Outsourcing
- Persuasively communicate value to the clients, working for larger, more complex projects
- Confidently articulating on the solution in terms of financial return and benefits as well as the impact on customer business goals
- Developing proposals by analyzing critical business drivers and risks to pursue and win Security Outsourcing deals.
- Working closely with key internal stakeholders to provide accurate and timely information in terms of opportunity analysis, solution development, competitive costing, commercial proposition integration and business case alignment
- Create value propositions that differentiate from competitors, uniquely positioning HP as the preferred vendor for meeting customer security requirements.
The successful individual will have a demonstrated knowledge of security outsourcing services and solutions to include a combination of ongoing delivery of services, services startup and transition as well as technology and process transformation.

Requirements
- Min 10 years of related experience in Security Sales and/typically around 10 years in complex IT service business environment.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the relevant areas of the Security Business
- Strong influencing and communication skills and network up to and including C levels.
- Team player and leadership skills in working with pursuit and consulting teams.
- Highly developed consultative approach, solution selling and business development skills.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies
