FULL TIME, PERMANENT JOB TO START ASAP
SALARY £25,513 - £31,342 PER ANNUM

A Leicester City based organisation are looking to recruit a Capital Reporting Analyst on a full time permanent basis. Based within the Finance Directorate you will be responsible for preparing the finance return in compliance with assurance processes and the the maintenance of the fixed asset register, the calculation of depreciation and associated release of capital grants. Interacting with finance partners, budget holders and project managers the post holder will also review capital spend plans and reflect the impact of re-profiling for forecasting and planning purposes.

The successful candidate will have have proven exposure and experience of fixed asset register maintenance and capital expenditure. Main duties for this Capital Reporting Analyst role are to maintain the fixed asset register, including heritage assess and the schedule and accounting for deferred capital grants. Calculate and book depreciation entries onto the General Ledger on a monthly basis. Liaise with Finance Partners to calculate capital expenditure profiles on both accounting and cash basis and update depreciation and grant release forecasts accordingly.

Ideally you will be CIMA Part Qualified but must have proven experience of fixed assets/capital accounting along with the ability to perform complex numerical calculations, to extract data from large complex data from large and complex databases and be able to communicate financial information to non-financial colleagues.
