Job Summary:
The National OH&S Coordinator is responsible for administering all aspects of OH&S and WorkCover for Accenture Australia in accordance with relevant legislation and company policy.
The HR Advisor role is aligned to Global Careers Program (GCP) and supports general human resources activities. The HR Advisor works with leadership to understand the business environment and to determine, develop and execute innovative solutions to address work priorities.
This role may be reassigned to support a different Growth Platform or DTE from time to time in order to meet the changing needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
OH&S Coordinator
• Coordinate workplace assessments for employees and order ergonomic equipment as required
• Coordinate administration of WorkCover claims management, including liaison with employee, WorkCover insurer; claims teams and Account Manager
• Manage the broader rehabilitation issues of return to work, including liaison with rehabilitation providers; monitoring claims cost and claims incidence and their premium impact
• Assist HR Managers in OH&S activities as required
• Facilitate the OH&S Committee including quarterly meetings and coordination of relevant training requirements
• Partner with the Facilities and Services team to ensure OH&S compliance.in accordance with AS4801 standards
• Coordinate administration of salary continuance, TPD and Group Life Insurance claims
• Maintain insurance claim-tracking documentation consisting of all open and closed claims and share with payroll monthly to enable accurate payments
• Manage annual influenza vaccination program for all Accenture sites and selected project sites
Coordinate Executive Health Check program with provider as necessary
• Ensure that OHSMS (Occupational Health and Safety Management System ) requirements are established, implemented and maintained in accordance with the AS /NZS 4801:2001 standard and conduct external audits to comply with this standard.
• Report on the health and safety related spend and performance of the OHSMS to leadership for review and as a basis for improvement of the OHSMS quarterly.
• Keep up to date with changes in OH&S legislation and drive required changes.
• Ensure all work-related near-misses, incidents and accidents are documented immediately and investigated as soon as practicable to prevent any further injuries or reoccurrences
• Work with ANZ Talent Strategist to ensure Health & Wellbeing strategy is aligned with the Accenture Human Capital Strategy
General HR
• Review / analyse results of feedback from Site Lead & Manager Connect calls and work with onshore and offshore leadership to develop and implement employee engagement action plans
• Team with other HR Advisors to share best practices and contribute to knowledge capital
• Support client group Community activity and initiatives ensuring integration within the Human Capital Strategy where applicable
• Advise leadership / career counsellors on a variety of people matters including poor performance, managed terminations, disciplinary and grievance matters, flexible working arrangements, new initiatives etc
• Support implementation of global and country people initiatives within the assigned entity
• Support Human Capital Strategy initiatives as applicable
Performance Management and Professional Development
• Assist with implementation and coordination of key Human Resources processes (e.g. annual promotions, annual performance management, permanent transfer program) according to geographic/entity guidelines
• Support career counsellors and supervisors in the career development of all assigned personnel by providing guidance on career plans, coaching, and advising/approving required and elective training appropriate for their development
• Support on-going performance feedback processes by providing regular guidance and training on delivering and receiving feedback, contributing to and reviewing formal input, discussing personnel issues and supporting the implementation of performance improvement plans
Employee Relations and Employee Transitions
• Serve as an escalation point for personnel and employee relations issues and provide guidance and intervention as needed to resolve personnel issues
• Support and advise the business on HR policy in line with the company's policies
• Support the integration of new joiners
• Provide input as required to the People Mobility Service Delivery team (PMSD) and Accenture Enterprise Enablement team (AEE) to complete administrative processes including termination of visas and or/employment and updating of personnel changes (eg repatriations, re-staffing, workforce transfers, other personnel transactions)
