BI / Data Manager



One of our clients a global consumer products manufacturer and distributer and leaders in their field are currently looking for a BI / Data Manager to take on an important role within the business.



As the manager of the BI and Data systems you will be an essential member of the Analytics team, and responsible for developing, enhancing and managing commercial systems and data. This essential business information is used to provide objective insights regarding internal and external trends, dynamics and other business drivers that influence existing and future business.



Your experience in building and maintaining relationships, strong business acumen, influencing skills as well as business presentation skills will ensure your success in this role. But in addition to the business side, we are also looking for very strong 'hands on technical' experience advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL and MS Access are essential, while experience with the MS Office suite; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint will be an advantage.



You will work collaboratively with business analysts, CRM managers, strategic account managers, sales managers and others to reconcile information, sales & PBS data, and other key business analytics. You may also be asked to work on special projects or initiatives focused on user requirements analysis, fixing, upgrading and maintaining the commercial systems, applications and data.



You have excellent project management, analytical, data validation and problem solving skills with extensive experience working with business systems, databases, applications, information management or related experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, consumer goods or related industry. Your strong database skills will be essential in order to manipulate data from multiple sources through to Business Objects and visualisation on dashboards. You will bring your significant knowledge of commercially focused data as well as a strong understanding of CRM and sales systems, software and applications.
