Warehouse Shift Manager

We have an excellent opportunity to join a major retailer as a Warehouse Shift Manager. This is a large scale, fast paced logistics operation and they are looking for someone who is personable and approachable.



This role will involve maximising the performance of each warehouse shift. You will manage all colleague-related matters from health & safety to training. Responsible for managing and leading the Department Management team to deliver and outperform against the plan. Responsible for all warehouse activity from site.You will drive succession planning to ensure talent is grown and drive continuous improvement.You will monitor KPI's and help develop managers and colleagues on your shift.



Candidates must have strong man management behaviours and the ability to flex with an ever changing environment, both where the job is impacted and in attitude. A high level of influencing and communication skills , as you will be working with colleagues from all areas of the business, trade unions and 3rd party organisations. Also experienced working within a large scale FMCG environment and managing a large team of managers. You will be a manager who takes pride in their work and leads by example. You will also need to be energetic, focussed and have passion to succeed and willingness to progress within the role. A progressive, confident managerial style with a flexible way of working.
