Management Accountant

Reading, United Kingdom, GB - Accounting

This will include facilitating the completion and approval of the annual budget, including reporting on the financial progress of business, both to Business Managers and other external parties. The role will also provide detailed financial forecasts and outturns and provide support and advice to budget holders, helping them improve business processes and maximise the Association's net surplus.



Other key areas in this role will include:



· Corporate Plan

· Statutory Reporting

· Human Resources and Staff Management

· Rick Management and Control

· Diversity

· Health and Safety



You will be CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified and experienced in producing management accounts whilst reviewing cost centre reports with budget holders. You must also be experienced in year-end account production and consolidation.



Strong interpersonal and communication skills are vital as well as the ability to lead a small team and influence others. A self-starter, you will be able to work on your own initiative, be organised and methodical in approach and have a 'can do' attitude. It literate with advanced Excel, SUN, Q&A and IPOS.
